Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui perbedaan sikap peduli lingkungan peserta didik di sekolah green school dan sekolah non green school, (2) mengetahui implementasi program green school di SMP N 14 Tegal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kausal komparatif. Subyek penelitian ini peserta didik kelas VII SMP N 14 Tegal dan peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Ketanggungan tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan kuesioner. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar kuesioner, lembar observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji-t sampel independent (dianggap skala interval). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat perbedaan sikap peduli lingkungan peserta didik di sekolah green school dan sekolah non green school. (2) implementasi program green school di SMP N 14 Tegal sudah baik karena mengacu pada empat aspek yang dapat mendukung keterlaksanaan program green school yaitu kebijakan, kurikulum berbasis lingkungan, lingkungan berbasis partisipatif, dan sarana pendukung ramah lingkungan.
