Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik setelah diterapkan pembelajaran model double loop problem solving berbantuan alat peraga pada sub materi pemanasan global. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan ialah matching pretest posttest comparation group design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas VII-A SMPN 01 Suradadi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran double loop problem solving berbantuan alat peraga. Hal tersebut terlihat dari nilai signifikansi uji t paired sample t-test sebesar 0,000 yang mempunyai arti bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik sesudah dan setelah dilaksanakan pembelajaran menggunakan double loop problem solving berbantuan alat peraga. Perbedaan tersebut terbukti dari hasil posttest yang meningkat. Berdasarkan analisis peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik sebesarĀ 72,61% berkategori tinggi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu penerapan model double loop problem solving berbantuan alat peraga pada sub materi pemanasan global dapat meingkatkan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik.
