Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik setelah adanya penerapan model pembelajaran IDEA dan model kooperatif, untuk mengetahui tingkat keefektivan model pembelajaranIDEA dan model kooperatif , serta mengetahui respon peserta didik dalam penerapan model IDEA dan kooperatif. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII di salah satu SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Brebes tahun ajaran 2019/2020 sepuluh kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Data diambil dengan menggunakan lembar tes dan lembar angket. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji independent sample t-test dan uji n-gain score. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada penggunaan model pembelajaran IDEA tingkat kemampuan berpikir peserta didik meningkat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 39,67 dan nilai rata-rata post-testsebesar 73,67 dan tingkatefektivitas model pembelajaranIDEA sebesar 56,96 % menunjukkankategoricukupefektif.
